Weymouth Veterans Parade
13th June 2010

On Sunday 13th June Paddy and Dick, our Standard bearers were on parade in Weymouth to
celebrate this year`s Veterans Parade along the seafront.   Our website administrator, Jim was
there and took some photographs to record the event.   Many Veterans Associations were
represented and the atmosphere was awesome.   WW2 military vehicles followed the parade
including Tanks and Artillery guns, many forming up on the beach for inspection.
The weather was sunny with a blue sky and pleasant offshore breeze.
Lots of Association stalls and memorabilia retailers were dotted along the esplanade and proved very popular with the veterans.
Weymouth hosts this event every year and is well worth the visit.
